ACR Latin America was present during the presentation of the new range of products for air conditioning of Samsung Electronics Latin America that presented days ago in Panama, as part of the AC Forum tour that began the previous year in Korea.
The brand presented its innovations such as the new 360 cassette air conditioning unit, the Chiller DVM, next generation DVM S of 30HP, and the new side-discharge VRF unit - the DVM S Eco of 14hp.
Cassette 360
The innovative design of the Cassette 360 transforms airflow. The indoor booster fan guides the air to form a complete horizontal flow, generating multiple layers of cold air. The circular airflow consistently controls the temperature of the room by providing an even distribution of air in a range of 360°. Finless flow control ensures fast and comfortable cooling free of cold currents, delivering 100% of the air volume compared to the conventional 4-way cassette, which can lose up to 25% of the airflow volume. As a result, the cooling rate increases up to 34%.
The Cassette 360° combines extraordinary performance with an elegant design that can be combined and enhance any environment. The unit features an intuitive display that allows users to change the airflow according to their preference. The customer can choose between horizontal and vertical airflow and zone-specific flow control.
DVMS 18 tons
The 18-ton Samsung VRF features a compact design with large cooling capacity that maximizes efficient use of space by up to 40% and weight by 31%. When individual modules are combined, the capacity can be expanded by up to 44 tons. To increase energy efficiency, the new DVM S also includes Samsung's Super Inverter Scroll Compressor which has been optimized as well as a hybrid heat exchanger.
DVM Chiller
The new DVM Chiller is a powerful system that combines the characteristics of an air-cooled chiller with VRF (Variable Coolant Flow) technology into one compact unit. It is able to reduce the installation area while presenting a high energy efficiency index.
