International. The air treatment company Munters announced the acquisition of Reventa, a German company specializing in environmental control systems in livestock buildings.
Reventa, based in Horstmar, was founded in 1982 and produces a complete system of filters, distribution, heating/cooling, drainage and air cleaning. Reventa serves customers both in Germany and internationally.
The deal is seen as combining munters' strengths and Reventa reinforcing Munters' position in the pig farming sector and markets in northern and eastern Europe.
"Reventa's management team has done a great job of building a strong and successful operation that delivers quality products for the poultry and pig market," said Peter Gisel-Ekdahl, president of Munters' AgHort business area. "Munters will be able to expand its product portfolio to include Resale products and solutions, while Resale customers will benefit from Munters' global offering," added Gisel-Ekdahl.
