International. The German news channel n-tv has recognized leaders in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with its "Hidden Championis". Ziehl-Abegg redeemed the recognition in the innovation category. The jury had a special mention for the fact that for more than 100 years this company justifies its claim to be a developer of innovative electric units and fans.
Out of all the entries in the key category of "Innovation", Ziehl-Abegg has reached the podium. "I am happy that we were able to reaffirm our position as a classic industrial company among biotechnology and medical technology specialists," says CFO Achim Curd Ragle, describing the company's second position in the category. The award demonstrates the desire of all employees to succeed as a global leader in technology. "That also motivates us to continue to act at the highest level."
A total of 250 representatives of commercial companies and journalists gathered for the celebratory award ceremony at the Palmengartende Frankfurt Botanical Gardens. "The historic environment offers the right framework to give recognition to major German companies," said n-tv CEO Hans Demmel at the opening of the event. For the fifth time, the news channel paid tribute to SMEs, most of which are little known among the general public, but which allow the German economic engine to run at full speed. the presentations and proposals for the awards were analyzed by a professional jury and a Board of Directors made up of high-profile individuals. In addition, all submissions were examined in depth by n-tv's Business Editorial Department, which conducted its own research.
