International. Carrier has developed a new low-capacity boiler that provides the right amount of heat for smaller areas, which have traditionally been served by large units.
The new low-capacity boiler provides 26,000 BTU/hour of heating. This level of heat provides an ideal solution for multi-unit homes, as well as homes specially designed to consume very low amounts of energy.
"Carrier has long been providing a wide range of heating and cooling solutions to meet the unique needs of different home styles. Our decision to develop and manufacture the unit with this capability is a testament to our ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of as many customers as possible. We are very excited about what this boiler delivers in convenience and cost savings," said Matthew Pine, vice president of marketing for Carrier Residential HVAC.
The introduction of this low-capacity caldea positions Carrier in the segment of supplying smart home comfort solutions sought after by owners, builders and property managers, as well as architects and engineers.
