United States. According to the organization, 81% of the exhibitors at the AHR Expo 2016, which will be held in Orlando from January 25 to 27, will present new products or unveil updates to their latest technologies.
The event will have 30% more space occupied since the last show held in Orlando in 2010, when it had an attendance of more than 44,000 professionals from the 50 U.S. states and 124 countries. For this year, the presence of more than 1,900 exhibiting companies is expected and exceed the attendance of the previous year.
Again, the AHR will have the AHR Innovation Awards competition, which recognizes exhibiting companies that have developed the most creative and useful products in 10 major categories of the HVAC/R industry. Of the 10 winning products each year, one is chosen as the overall "Best in Show" and is awarded the Product of the Year Award. This contest is jointly sponsored by the AHR Expo, ASHRAE and AHRI. Some of the categories are Building Automation, Cooling, Heating, Indoor Air Quality, Software, Ventilation, among others.
