International. Distech Controls announced that Eclypse connected systems controller has won the 2015 Consulting-Specifying Engineer Product of the Year Award, in the most valuable product category.
This competition, now in its 11th edition, is the main prize for new products from the HVAC, fire, electrical and plumbing engineering systems markets.
Eclypse is an HVAC controller that supports multiprotocol communications including BACnet/IP and is listed BTL as a BACnet building controller (B-BC). Recognized by voters for its powerful connectivity and advanced control, tracking and analytics, it prepares users for the construction of the Internet of Things (IoT). To achieve MVP status, the Eclypse not only received the most votes among the finalists "BAS, Controls, Energy Management", but in all thirteen categories.
This controller is a modular and scalable platform that uses BACnet/IP and IT standards, to deliver empowered IP connectivity, open integration, and convergence between IT and building management systems.
