Mexico. The municipal amphitheater of Puebla is reporting cooling problems in its chambers that does not allow them to operate correctly, which generates failures in the conservation of the bodies deposited in the place and bad odors.
The drawback occurs in an area of the amphitheater, specifically in thermostats, cold room, electrical systems and other aspects that need maintenance or renovation. The value of repairing the equipment exceeds $500,000 pesos (about US$29,000).
The municipality, said the mayor, does not plan to make the investment in that place until it has a land designated for the new municipal pantheon or until it has a response from the state government to analyze the repair costs and how they will be covered.
The land they intend to acquire is under analysis, because it must be considered that it does not affect the aquifers and the environmental impact it may have.
