United States. Daikin Industries Ltd. recently held its ceremony at the future location of its HVAC, Manufacturing and Logistics Equipment Engineering Campus in Waller, Texas. In the coming years, Daikin will build a state-of-the-art campus that consolidates much of the existing footprint of its Daikin, Goodman and Amana brand operations in Texas and Tennessee.
The location will also feature expandability to accommodate projected growth. Members of Daikin's team from Japan were on hand to support the company's largest investment in North American HVAC manufacturing operations, totaling approximately $417 million. The headquarters is expected to employ up to 4,000 people.
"The new enterprise campus will provide many exceptional advantages to our customers. The operational efficiencies we achieve will be reflected in the excellent quality of our high efficiency, energy-saving heating and cooling systems. We are very excited about the exceptional value this move will bring to our current and future customers. We see this new enterprise campus as a strong, long-term commitment to our North American customers," said Takeshi Ebisu, President and CEO, Daikin North America.
