United States / Japan. Representatives of the Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating business line received the Business Group Award for their growth and performance within their roles at the company.
William Rau, senior vice president and general manager, and Bud Nardello, vice president of sales, were recognized at Mitsubishi Electric Corporatio's core facility in Tokyo, Japan, for their increase in sales figures compared to the previous year.
To receive the award, candidates must be nominated by the Tokyo factory or head office. This time the air conditioning area was one of two divisions outside Japan to be recognized. Both winners reported double-digit 2011 sales for the company.
"The recognition of our global offices is indicative of the great strides we have made in introducing a new category of HVAC products for the U.S.," said William Rau.
