Colombia/Chile. The Antioquia Regional Development Agency (ADRA) is in the process of organizing a Technical Mission known as Cold Networks to Chile, which aims to know the reality of cold chains and the regulations that govern the food safety system in this country.
In Chile, a recognized global agro-industrial and fishing producer and exporter, travelers will be able to learn about and internalize the experiences and reality of cold chains, their institutionality and the regulations that govern the food safety system in this country.
The Redes de Frío mission is aimed at establishing networked cold plants and mini-plants throughout the regional, national and international territory that serve as marketing and logistics nodes to conserve and transport perishable and industrial products with cold requirements; in addition to ensuring the quality and safety of food and contributing to solving public health problems caused by diseases transmitted by them, when they are handled inadequately and precariously.
The mission will be fulfilled between April 22 and 29 of this year. For those who wish to learn more about travel logistics can enter by clicking here.
