International. The foundation Carbonfund.org has awarded the Carbon Free certificate for the first time to an air conditioning unit, it is the Multi V III of the multinational LG Electronics.
According to the technology company, the equipment was designed to be both environmentally friendly and powerful. It is based on Inverter technology and offers a performance of 4.6 which allows it to emit less CO2 than other air conditioning systems
LG Electronics has announced that its Multi V III (ARUN07DT3) has been the first air conditioning equipment in the world to receive the "carbon-free" Certificate granted by Carbonfund.org, a North American authority that is responsible for evaluating the impact that people and companies have on the environment.
Hwan-yong Noh, president and CEO of LG Electronics' air conditioning and energy solutions company, told several media outlets, North American consumers show a significant interest in products that are environmentally friendly.
The Carbonfund.org foundation gives this recognition after a rigorous study of the emissions generated by a product during its life cycle, including its manufacturing process, shipping for use, distribution and its loss of useful life (if it is easy to recycle).
