El Salvador. A new cold distribution center was inaugurated by the Ransa company in the Salvadoran capital. The facilities seek to pay attention to the industries of medicines, fruits and vegetables, refrigerated and frozen foods.
The project, which was inaugurated in recent days, has a total area of 1,980 m2 and will have more than 1,300 lockers to store the products under ideal quality, safety and temperature standards.
With this installation, the company ventures into the refrigerated logistics market after a six-year journey of operations in the country.
According to Emilio Fantozzi, general manager of Ransa, this innovation is aimed at the company's foray into emerging markets with broad needs.
"This new logistics management will allow the company to enter a market with a lot of demand and in front of the logistics services that exist for perishable food. It will also allow Ransa to expand into new business formats, betting on being an integral option for its customers," he said.
The center also has a technological capacity that allows to guarantee effectiveness and accuracy in the processes, since it has an information system that allows a search of the products in real time.
