Mexico. Danfoss reported that Xavier Casas assumes the position of Managing Director of Danfoss Mexico, reporting directly to the President of the Latin American region of Danfoss.
Xavier's responsibilities will include representing the company in public and private affairs, creating and implementing growth strategies with the development of specific performance targets for Danfoss Mexico, as well as deciding on key infrastructure investments, and talent that allows the company to capture growth opportunities in the markets in which it develops.

Xavier has developed his professional career within Danfoss, joined the company in 2001 in the area of quality and was later responsible for production planning and purchasing. In 2007 he reached the position of material handling manager where he guaranteed a high level of inventory control, in addition to optimal and safe storage. From 2008 to 2012 he excelled as a logistics manager, redesigning processes in the areas of import, export, and transport. For 4 years, from 2012 to 2016, he was the director of operations and was responsible for ensuring quality in the production process, development of new manufacturing technologies, maintenance, logistics and customer service.
During this stage of his professional life he developed and implemented strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the business, directing all aspects of production operations for 800 employees. Xavier Casas fostered a culture of "safety first" by developing various initiatives to ensure zero accidents in Danfoss operations. He was a promoter of lean manufacturing culture, working collaboratively globally with counterparts from other parts of Danfoss in different countries.
From 2016 to 2018 he was the global supply chain manager for Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, leading the strategy in operations at Danfoss factories located in India, China, Poland and Denmark, aiming to increase Danfoss' flexibility and agility to meet the needs of Danfoss customers in the markets in which it operates. From now on he will be in charge of the Danfoss Mexico office.
