International. Distech Controls announced the inclusion of a new member to its management team. This is Jean-Lou Paquet, who will serve as the new vice president of corporate development.
The company indicated that Paquet will be responsible for leading all aspects of mergers and acquisitions for the business. His work will focus on facilitating access to innovative products and solutions from around the world, and on creating added value for Distech Controls' customers. Jean-Lou has 15 years of experience in business development.
Additionally, the energy management solutions company also confirmed other appointments: David Gill, with 30 years of experience in global business has been named vice president for Asia, in December 2013, Carl Barnard came to the company as sales director for the Americas. Jim French has a new role as vice president of product development and technical support.
