Ricardo Freitas, who since 2011 has served as chief operating officer, now assumes the presidency of Heatcraft of Brazil, replacing Eduardo Navarro, who will remain in the position for a few more months to lead the transition, and avoid impacts between customers and partners.
Navarro, who since 2009 has served as president of this company, was appointed to the position of vice president and general manager of Kysor / Warren, a company belonging to Heatcraft in the United States.
Prior to joining Lennox, Ricardo, who holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from CEFET/RJ, a postgraduate degree in management engineering from UFRGS and an MBA from FGV, worked for 17 years in various leadership positions in manufacturing and engineering at Carrier in France and Brazil.
