As every beginning of the year, experts and professionals related to the industry launch their predictions about what is coming in this 2015, related to new technologies, negotiations, sale and commercialization of HVAC / R equipment.
Within the guild there are varied opinions as to how the industry will fare throughout the year. If we set our eyes on Brazil, being the main market in the region, many of the professionals in that country reserve themselves when it comes to giving ample growth figures. Brazil is a country that is not going through its best economic present and the local government has been designing strategies to avoid a recession.
But that doesn't mean our guild there has a bad year. The only thing we can predict, thanks to the comments of the sector, is that the goals for companies will focus on maintaining the numbers of 2014, and if there is growth it will be well received.
However, associations such as Asbrav and Febrava agree in forecasting an increase in the numbers of 10%. Mexico, for its part, is going through a positive moment for companies, but it has radical changes in terms of regulations, to which the industry must get used to improving good practices, especially in the replacement of refrigerants. However, the last AHR Expo in Mexico City was a clear example that the market promises an optimistic future.
Others such as Colombia, Peru, Panama, Ecuador and Chile, remain stable markets that will continue to bet on growth as a result of a good international trade policy and the increase in the construction sector, to continue establishing themselves as countries with a great present and a promising future.
On the other hand, this year will also continue to set the tone in terms of the issue of efficiency and sustainability, development parameters that have ceased to be a fashion to become a reality. However, it is up to each of us whether positive predictions come true.
We wish you a great year 2015!
