Colombia. This Thursday, July 18, the Association of Modern Building Managers (AGEM) will hold in Medellín the eighth meeting and training called "Regulations for Buildings in Colombia - Fires".
The meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Law (Block 12) of the Pontifical Bolivarian University (UPB).
The talk seeks to present an overview of the principles followed by the regulations of fire systems, to sensitize attendees as to the importance of implementing them and keeping them operating properly.
Diego Andrés Flórez, director of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the UPB, will be the speaker. Flórez is a Mechanical Engineer from the National University of Colombia, with a Master's Degree in Technological Management from the UPB. In addition, he is a consultant and designer of fire protection systems for different construction companies, among which Dinpro and Conconcreto stand out.
