Colombia. The use of natural resources, energy saving and innovations in design were some of the topics discussed during the fifth meeting of the Association of Building Managers (AGEM), which on this occasion had two conferences: Bioclimatic and natural ventilation "and "Lighting and energy efficiency".
The architect Laura Marín Restrepo, from PVG Arquitectos, and Rafael Cabrera, director of the architecture department of MásBio Construcciones, were the respective speakers of the talks presented on September 20 in the auditorium of the Pontifical Bolivarian University.
Around 80 professionals accepted the invitation to learn a little more about these new proposals that allow the best operation of a building. Topics that started from the planning, design and application were seen by the attendees who in the end formulated interesting concerns and were resolved by the speakers.
With this meeting, AGEM, which currently has 267 members, celebrates 10 months working on the development of this proposal that seeks to generate a community for all existing building managers.
The next appointment will be held on November 8 from 4:30 p.m., where the panel of experts in administration will be presented who will discuss the topic: "How to generate value in a building", which will be done in parallel with TecnoEdificios, the congress and commercial exhibition on technologies for the operation and administration of commercial and industrial buildings.
