Panama. The thirteenth version of Refriaméricas 2016 was a total success. More than 2,200 professionals attended the Expo and the Academic Program that took place on June 2 and 3 at the Atlapa Convention Center in the Panamanian capital.
Refriaméricas is confirmed as the international meeting that brings together thousands of people from Latin America, especially from Central America and the Andean Region, with the presence of presidents of important associations such as APAYRE, ACAIRE, ASHRAE and its Chapters Panama, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, as well as other personalities of the HVAC / R sector.
The commercial exhibition continues to consolidate and this year had the participation of more than 90 companies from all over the region, including international manufacturers and distributors of the main brands in the industry, which presented the latest in products, services and solutions of commercial and industrial refrigeration, and air conditioning and ventilation.
The Academic Program also had the participation of renowned speakers, who presented before the attendees talks focused on the design, operation and maintenance of efficient systems, divided into a room for Air Conditioning and Ventilation, and another for Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration.
The challenge that was evident among the attendees and speakers, at the end of the congress, is to continue working on the development and implementation of technologies and processes that make it possible to improve the operation of the different spaces where this kind of systems intervene. For 2017, RefriAméricas will continue in Panama, this time on June 1 and 2 in the same venue: the Atlapa.
