Techbase
The company Techbase shows its first industrial computer based on the Raspberry Pi module. The device that has been baptized as ModBerry is designed to be used in the field of automation offering users multilevel access management from the cloud.
It has been designed around the Broadcom processor of the Raspberry Pi of 700 MHz with 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of NAND flash storage. Its interfaces include RS-485/232, CAN and very economical 1-Wire ports, which are widely used in the automation industry, Ethernet, USB, HDMI and wireless communication ports, such as Wi-Fi, LTE/3G/GPRS modems or Bluetooth technology.
The company has also developed its own dedicated software for automation, which includes iMod, iModCloud and iModWizard, among other functions, such as software updates or device grouping and access control, in iModCloud you have other functions such as data visualization capabilities through databases or graphics, maps for devices with GPS, file management and various types of notifications plus specific actions to run remotely.
