The SS3 Deep Backplate is an accessory for mounting Smart-Sensor and Space-Sensor temperature devices that makes it easy to surface mount without the need to cut an opening in the wall. The SS3 plate is suitable for gas detection models and for concrete installations or other solid surfaces, designed to cover electrical boxes of a single device.
It features a blind hole the perfect size for wiremold wiring rails, or fitted with an optional duct coupler for use with wiring inside 1/2-inch electrical metal tube.
This accessory is for use with wireless models, with gas detection or for mounting on an external wall where the thermal bridge could influence sensor readings and is compatible with any device with SS3 or SST3 shape.
