Finding leaks is easier with DiversiTech's Flash Detect Inject, an integrated UV dye that doesn't require UV lenses and is ideal for use in places where leaks aren't easily found with conventional methods.
Using ultraviolet light such as DiversiTech's 89DC, the highly soluble fluid exposes the leaks in green. Contractors can use other products in the line such as Super Seal Sealant Advanced sealant or Flex Inject Advanced sealant to repair the leak.
For use in systems up to 6 tons, the dye is injected through a patented flexible hose and can be installed without the use of tools or collector meters.
Flash Detect contains no polymers and works with all compressors, heat pumps, condensers, recovery units and other system components. It is installed in a fully charged system without recovery or pumping and works with all refrigerants and oils. Field testing and use demonstrate that it prevents obstructions or plugs of pressure gauges, measuring devices, thermostatic expansion valves (VTEs), pistons and cap tubes.
