Fox Thermal Instruments
The Fox FT1 model, a thermal gas mass flow meter offered by Fox Thermal Instruments, has expanded its features.
Among its new virtues now comes with tensioners for five probe sizes (15", 18", 24", 30", and 36"), a HART communication option, and first-class approvals from FM (U.S.) and FMc (Canada), in addition to those from ATEX Zone One (EU) and IECEx (Global).
This model is characterized by its DD-Sensor technology that allows you to operate the Gas-SelectX gas selection menu tool, which now includes air, argon, butane, carbon dioxide, methane, natural gas, nitrogen, oxygen, helium, hydrogen, propane, and the option to mix 3 gases. The mixture can be any combination of 3 gases available on the menu.
A free software tool, FT1 Vista, is available for the FT1 model for the user to connect and configure the system using a PC or laptop.
The FT1 was designed to be used in the most common gas monitoring applications. With its robust design, it is ideal for heavy industrial applications in the field of HVAC, paper, glass and ceramics.
