Danfoss introduces its VACON 100, a multi-featured frequency converter specializing in a wide range of power/constant torque applications. Rugged and easy-to-use motor controls improve the reliability and performance of all types of AC motors, including induction, permanent magnetization and reluctance synchronous motors.
The integrated RS485 and Ethernet interfaces are compatible with most industrial protocols, making VACON 100 INDUSTRIAL easily incorporated into most control systems. The integrated PLC function makes it possible to implement new functionalities in the frequency converter. Increased functional safety with the STO safe stop function, which prevents torque from being generated in the engine; It also has a class 1 safe stop and ATEX certification for thermal protection in the engine.
Wall-mount converter modules are easy to install and operate, and protected frequency converters are supplied with a wide range of integrated options.
