Chemours introduces Opteon XP10 (R-513A), a refrigerant that has low global warming potential (GWP) and does not damage the ozone layer.
It is a hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO)-based refrigerant developed to replace R-134a in commercial and industrial positive displacement, direct expansion systems, including centrifuges and cooling chambers.
Opteon XP10 is an excellent substitute in terms of capacity and energy efficiency for new equipment with R-134A, as well as for Retrofit of existing equipment, offering an optimal balance of properties, including high energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Manufactured for applications in medium temperature systems or in hybrid cascade systems; also in average temperature in commercial DX and industrial refrigeration; water coolers, air conditioning and heat pumps and in new equipment / retrofit for existing equipment.
