The ZoneTight QCV (pressure dependent) and PIQCV (pressure independent) zone valves have new snap-in connections built in for fast, consistent and reliable installation.
Such valve assemblies are designed and constructed to achieve maximum efficiency in tight spaces and are suitable for commercial buildings where greater closure and adaptive flow are desired.
It is worth noting that the sets support hot or cold water, 60% glycol and a body pressure rating of 250 psi, the zero leak ball valve design eliminates energy losses and is resistant to obstructions. In addition, the available pressure-dependent range of 1/2 to 1" and pressure-independent of 1/2 - 3/4". They have a lower energy consumption up to 95% less than conventional zone valves. Also the flow is adjustable in the field to meet your design requirements.
Typical applications include ventilation units, fancoils, VAV reheating coils, finned tubes, and radiant panels. In addition to adapting to areas with restricted space, the QCV and PIQCV are easy to assemble.
