Greenheck
Greenheck's new RVC (Ceiling Fan with Energy Recovery Core) model is the latest addition to its line of dedicated outdoor air systems for high percentage, 100% outdoor air applications. The RVC model incorporates a total enthalpy core that provides sensitive and latent heat transfer and meets the minimum efficiencies of ASHRAE 90.1.
The enthalpy core cross-flow design prevents supply and exhaust air currents from crossing, resulting in an exhaust air transfer ratio (EATR) of 0 to 1% according to ahRI 1060 test.
The RVC model is available in three housing sizes with an airflow of up to 15,000 cfm and 5 to 70 tons of packaged DX cooling capacity. A fiber core is available in sizes up to 30 tons; a polymer core is available in sizes up to 70 tons. As the enthalpy core has no moving parts, the need for maintenance and mechanical repair is greatly reduced.
It is noteworthy that the core is easily accessible to clean it in place. An integral bypass gate option for economizer and frost control is also available.
In turn, the RVC includes a top-mounted capacitor and an improved control platform with a web UI that comes as standard. The factory-tested, wired and programmed controller can function as a standalone unit or integrate with a building management system (BMS).
