The GPS-FC product line is designed for indoor mounting of fan coils, PTAC heat pumps, ductless mini-splits and air handlers up to 1,200 CFM or three tons, with a compact size and ease of installation, especially for commercial applications.
Among its main benefits is that it neutralizes odors, eliminates mold, bacteria and viruses, helps control allergens by minimizing asthma, helps reduce particles and smoke control, in addition to preventing odors from the air conditioning system.
Notably, the brand announced that its product line received UL 2998 and UL 867-2007 certification as a technology free of ozone and its by-products. It also passed third-party testing conducted by Intertek/ETL to the UL safety standard for electrostatics.
The new UL 867 ozone test demonstrates that if an electrostatic air filter (NPBI) does not produce ozone above acceptable levels of 0.05 PPM in a closed chamber, it will not produce ozone above the acceptable level in a duct.
