Greenheck
The SSNM-10 and SSNM-30 series are Greenheck's two new models of stainless steel counterflow dampers with differential air pressure opening and gravity closure.
The SSNM-10 is a horizontally mounted rear-draft shock absorber designed to allow vertical airflow upwards, while the SSNM-30 is a vertically mounted rear-draft shock absorber for horizontal airflow. Both devices can prevent reverse airflow.
They are rated for pressure differential up to 2 inches Wg and at speeds up to 2,500 fpm. There are three types of frame construction available: flange-free, flange at the discharge, and flange at the entrance.
