Danfoss' new EVR v2 solenoid valves withstand higher refrigerant pressure and allow for a wider range of applications, while reducing the number of references, stock and repair time.
Among the advantages are lower costs of application, operation and maintenance, without compromising reliability in cold rooms, such as chillers and heat pumps, and also allowing to reduce energy consumption by up to 50%.
For air conditioning applications, the same EVR solenoid valve model that withstands an operating pressure of up to 45 bar, is compatible with higher pressure refrigerants such as R-410A and is valid for heat pumps or chillers operating at room temperature (up to 130°C for bypass and hot gas defrosting) for maximum load.
Also, in refrigeration, they are approved for refrigerants such as R-290 (propane). The solenoid's watertight closures protect the system and food, as well as improve flow to increase efficiency.
