REFRIX 417B refrigerant is an HFC mixture consisting of HFC 125, HFC 134a and butane. It has characteristics comparable to the refrigerant R 22 and can be used as a drop-in.
The refrigerant is ASHRAE rated safety class A1; manufactured for high temperature applications for residential and commercial air conditioning, small air conditioning equipment and domestic and commercial heat pumps, also for air conditioning in public transport (passenger trains and buses).
In the same way, it can be applied in medium and low temperatures, as in the air conditioning systems of the process industry.
As for lubricants, it is compatible with AB alkylbenzene lubricant, MO mineral oil and POE lubricant based on polyol ester, used mostly by compressor manufacturers.
