Very enthusiastic high school students have recycled old light poles, go-kart frames, fences, and other waste parts and manufactured vertical axis wind turbines.
Students are studying a green engineering course at Cape May Technical High School in New Jersey.
The resulting turbines are capable of generating up to 500w of wind power with the coastal wind in the city. Without a doubt very ingenious, here I leave you some photos.
