EUROPA PRESS.- A total of 22 companies, as well as representatives of the majority of autonomous communities, have launched the Association of Energy Efficiency Companies (A3E) that held its first official Assembly yesterday at the headquarters of the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) in Madrid.

The implementation of this association responds to the growth that has been registered in recent years in this sector, according to its promoters in a statement, who insist that energy efficiency must gain relevance to face the challenges that arise in the sector in the short and medium term.

Ábaco Control, Aiguasol, ATISAE, Barlovento, Bureau Veritas España, Cidemco, Creara, Delproyect, EDE, Enerbus, GEYCA Energía, Ingeniería IDP, inversiones, desarrollos y proyectos, S.L., ITE, Inersur, lavola, Marwen Ingeniería, NUTAI, Saincosa, SEI Navarra, SinCeO2 Consultoría Energética, Soluciones 3S and Test Grupo JG.In the meeting held yesterday, issues such as organizational and operational operating models, or the ratification of the Provisional Board of Directors until the call for elections in the coming months, were discussed. Until these elections, A3E will be chaired by Francisco Fernández Guillén.
In his speech at the event, Fernández highlighted the future work of the association to "take advantage of synergies between the partners, promoting coordination and representing the interests of the sector in a global way". According to the president, A3E will be governed by its independence, its participatory and open character, and its vocation to become a national and international reference, since "energy has no borders"...
