The inclusion of contaminated soils in the title of the Preliminary Draft of the future Waste Law highlights the importance of the management of contaminated soils in the performance of a correct environmental management of the territory.
The Higher Institute of the Environment, with the collaboration of professionals of recognized prestige in the sector, has launched the training program "Contamination of Soil and Groundwater" that establishes the ideal study framework for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the main sources, sectors and elements to be considered in the analysis and control of soil and groundwater pollution.
The course is aimed at students and qualified workers interested in knowing not only the existing legislation on Soil and Groundwater Pollution, but also the way in which to approach the preliminary reference reports according to Royal Decree 9/2005 which establishes the list of potentially polluting activities of the soil and the criteria and standards for the declaration of contaminated soils.
To complete the training in this area, you will learn pollution measurement techniques, tools for the assessment of the associated risks and the elaboration of the necessary corrective measures.
In order for the student to become fully familiar with the work methodology, the course incorporates a complete practical case on pollution scenarios from which the student will carry out the analysis and evaluation of environmental risk.
The course is taught online through the ISM Virtual Campus. In this way, the student can consult online training material, download information, carry out practical exercises and carry out tests to verify the knowledge acquired, with the support of the teacher at all times.
