Iberdrola Renovables has achieved a share of close to 50% in the Hungarian wind market by commissioning 70 megawatts (MW) in three new wind farms, which are those of Amundsen, Scott and Csoma II.
In a statement, the company indicates that, with these three new facilities, it consolidates itself as a reference in the country's wind sector, where it also manages new projects for another 100 MW and achieves progress within its general objectives for Eastern Europe.
The Scott wind farm has a capacity of 36 MW and is located in the town of Nagyigmad, while both the Amundsen, which has 26 MW, and the Csoma II, of 8 MW, are located in the town of Ikervar.
The three facilities have wind turbines of the G90 model of Gamesa, a company that Iberdrola Renovables considers a reference for its projects in Hungary. Each of these wind turbines has a power of 2 MW.
Iberdrola Renovables already had in Hungary, before the installation of these infrastructures, the Kisigmand parks, of 50 MW, and Csoma I, of 38 MW. (EUROPA PRESS)
