The Corona Save the Beach Hotel, is built with twelve tons of waste collected on the beaches of Europe and was installed in Rome last June, during the week of World Environment Day.
The hotel sponsored by the Mexican beer Corona, has five rooms and can accommodate ten people every night to live an extraordinary experience, not with the comforts of a luxury hotel but with a strong environmental commitment.
For the construction of the Hotel Coronita Save the Beach, the renowned German artist HA Schult has worked in his studio in Cologne, Germany, with the collection of garbage on European beaches, including some in Spain. "The philosophy of this hotel is that it shows the damage that is being caused to the sea and the coast, which reflects how things can end, if we don't care about our planet. We live in an age of garbage. Do we really want such a world? Schult said.
