Now that the kids are on vacation you can take advantage of your free time by recycling and making eco-friendly crafts, such as this Christmas wreath made with recycled PET containers.
To make this crown you will need:
18 PET bottles, if you do not use PET you can make it with any other type of plastic container, even with aluminum cans, the idea is that you use recyclable materials that you can find in your home.
1 metal hook for clothing
1 package of snacks that is metallic (chips, cookies)
1 tweezers
Adhesive tape
Stapler
Decorative ribbon
Scissors
Ice pick or clove
First you must trim the bottles of the base measures about 5 cm upwards and there cut, you will only use the parts below, pierce each bottle base with a hot ice pick, it is the easiest way to do it.
Disassemble the metal hook and with the help of the tweezers mold it so that there is a ring, introduce the bottles through the hole as shown in the photographs. Close the ring so that the bottles do not come out.
With the packaging of metallic snacks, clean and dry, make decorative bows for the crown, with the help of the tape and the stapler, stick them to the crown and give the final touches to your liking with the decorative ribbon, you can also add Christmas decorations that you already have in your house or drawings made by children.
