The president of the Board, Juan Vicente Herrera, said today that the development of renewable energies cannot be an obstacle to the maintenance of coal, which is a social activity and blamed the central executive for the lack of definition of an energy model that contemplates all types of energy, including the mining sector.
He also pointed out that the Board tries to work with all the parties involved and from a position close to that of the Government, even with the support offered from his personation in the resources to the Royal Decree.
Also the regional administration, he explained, is close to the electric ones, from the demand but also from the permanent offer of dialogue.
"There are many things that relate us and link us with the electricity companies," he said, although in his opinion "it does not make much sense" from the social and economic perspectives that the immediate future of coal, exploitations, companies or jobs is jeopardized. (EUROPA PRESS)
