Colombia. Between November 25 and 26, the Seminar "Eficiencia energética en edificaciones con base en el uso de materiales modificados" will be held in Medellín, Colombia, organized by the EAFIT University and the National Center for Cleaner Production and Environmental Technologies (CNPMLTA).The event seeks to emphasize the importance for the industry to move towards sustainable and increasingly efficient construction.
Therefore, the people invited to participate in the academic conferences correspond to an audience that acts directly in the industry and that has the ability to intervene in these important changes.
In this sense, the event brings together architects, engineers and technologists of infrastructure and construction, producers of materials and managers of by-products that can be valued in this type of applications.
According to Carolina Álvarez Acosta, CNPMLTA communicator and representative of the organization of the Seminar, the event "will allow attendees to obtain elements of technical analysis through which they can select modified materials that contribute to better energy performance and thermal comfort of the buildings."
