United States. Meritage Homes recently announced the signing of a national agreement that will allow it to use the Echo ™ solar system as an energy solution in all of its communities.
The signing of the agreement will bring financial benefits to Meritage buyers as this system offers twice as much energy as solar electricity bases or PV systems, meaning that such homes would use 70% to 80% less energy, according to the standard home-made code.
According to CR Herrera, Vice President of Environmental Affairs at Meritage Homes, "Echo sets the highest value standard in solar energy production and integrated solar systems, in addition, it not only generates electricity as a basic photovoltaic energy system, but also helps our owners meet the total heating and cooling needs they have in their homes."
In the same way, "this system provides ventilation with fresh air and many homebuyers value indoor air quality as an important consideration in buying a home. Therefore, Echo allows builders to meet the needs of these buyers," said Vikas Desai, CEO of PVT.
