Traditionally plant biomass is used in fireplaces and stoves with rudimentary methods. Now there is a new technology that gives a better use to this resource. These are pellet and chip boilers, which, unlike wood boilers, are fed automatically and not manually through wood crushing machines, which can be programmed to produce specific sizes of wood.
They can also be used with pellets made from forest residues and other wood waste.
There are also wood and pellet stoves, functional for homes that do not have central heating. These have a built-in oven where you can cook simultaneously. This is how biomass boilers offer more personal and global benefits than disadvantages and are presented as part of the solution to the problem of global warming that our planet is facing today.
