In San José de Quero, located in the upper part of the province of Concepción, 100% of the solar heaters were placed. In the houses of this district, the heating systems were built using a wooden frame and a glass glued to a wall always in front of the place where the sun is hidden, in such a way that it heats the interior of the house at the moment when the temperature decreases. This technology was created by Muro Trombe.
The National Construction Training Service (Sencico) is the entity commissioned by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation to launch this new heating project, which demands a budget of 15 million nuevos soles , (US $ 5 million) for the entire nation.
