Dominican Republic. The Association of Technicians and Professionals in Refrigeration and Air Conditioners of Santiago and Related Inc. (Atepreasa, by its acronyme in Spanish) held the workshop course entitled 'Correct Use of Tools and Equipment for Good Refrigeration Practices'.
In giving their part of success, the organizers specified that the workshop course was attended by technicians from Santiago and the entire Cibao Region of the Dominican Republic. Professionals from the area and industry collaborated with the Ministry of the Environment, represented by Ana Yulisa Croussett of the Ozone Program directed by Mario Pérez. Atepreasa was represented by its president Ángel Sánchez, as well as Víctor Gabriel De Soto, who has been working hand in hand with associations such as Adomtra, Asotrapp, Asotrayval, which bring together technicians from the Dominican Republic.
"Thanks to a great experience, in addition to the training and certifications carried out both nationally and internationally, we have been contributing to providing a service of greater quality and professionalism in accordance with national and international regulations, always taking care of the environment, the protection of the ozone layer and the greenhouse effect, working hand in hand with national and international institutions. private and state, in addition to distributors and brand owners, following up on consensuses such as the Montreal Agreement and the Kigali Amendment," said Atepreasa spokespersons.
The course was taught by Jesús Lora Reyes, a professional technician with several national and international certifications who is also part of the current Board of Directors of Atepreasa, an association that is currently working on the preparations and logistics to participate in Refriamericas 2025 along with the other associations of refrigeration technicians. At the event, they will have a didactic module from which they will give training, hand in hand with renowned engineers who are members of these associations.
