Latin America. The members of this body will provide their services on a voluntary basis for two years, starting on January 1, 2024.
According to the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), the members of the Advisory Council will be responsible for advising and representing the industry, reporting best practices in the region and contributing their expertise and influence to the strengthening of the cold chain, as well as the establishment of new relationships and alliances at the regional and global levels.
In addition, it was announced that GCCA members for Latin America voted to elect Francisco Moura, of IceStar Chile, as President and Rafael Rocha, of Emergent Cold, Latin America as Vice President for the year 2024.

• Jorge Huanqui, Asap Consulting Group / Peru.
• Maxime Girot, Clauger / Mexico.
"It is an honor to have been elected Chairman of the Advisory Board of GCCA Latam, and to be able to continue the excellent work of the previous leadership. I will work with the board to help promote the cold chain in Latin America, expand membership and strengthen our events, in addition to accelerating the process of generating technical and marketing knowledge," said Moura.
GCCA Latam also thanked the outgoing members of the Board, who contributed for 9 years with their experience, thought leadership and commitment: Salvador Figueroa, from CLC Logistics (Dominican Republic) and Raul Hernandez, from Precisa Frozen (Chile).
