HVAC/R expert explains how to avoid compressor burnout

Experto HVAC explica

International. Engineer Rolando Torrado explains why variations in electrical voltage are not the factor causing this equipment to burn out.

"If the voltage variation was so strong, why did only the compressor burn out? What happened to the condenser motor? What about the evaporator motor, computers, lights, and security cameras? It's true that it's strange that nothing else was burned!", questions Torrado.

Precisely, on his website www.rolandotorrado.com the expert has published a free webinar called 'No more burnt out compressors'. There, it offers different key guidelines to implement an adequate maintenance program for equipment, with the aim of preventing it from melting or breaking down.

"How many times you 'mega' coils of compressors and motors? Have you ever performed an acidity test on the oil when the insulation is going down in value? How does the suction superheat in the handler and the compressor discharge superheat impact the acidity of the oil?" continues Rolando Torrado, and then assures that the answers to these and other questions can be found in the webinar he authored.

It also states that the "megado" must be done to ensure that the degree of insulation of the motor windings is at adequate levels, so that the equipment can never burn out.

"If the insulation starts to go down, it's going to be detected in the 'megado'. There we can initiate actions to prevent burning. These compressor diagnostics and foundry prevention tasks can be found on my website. Take advantage of the opportunity to join this community and improve your performance in HVAC-R Engineering and Design at no cost," he concludes.

The www.rolandotorrado.com site includes courses, webinars, software, networking, and a job bank.
