Ecuador. The specialist in refrigerated storage and logistics services, Emergent Cold Latam, officially presented its new facilities located in Durán, marking the start of operations in this country.
The company confirmed that local investment is estimated at up to US$50 million in the coming years and the initial generation of 50 jobs is projected, with 80% occupation by professionals from the Durán canton.
The new warehouse has capacity for 10,320 frozen pallets and was built with sustainable technological solutions that guarantee energy and water savings, reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainability. The land is also prepared for future expansion and enjoys a strategic location with easy access to important ports in the country.
The company assured that its entry into the Ecuadorian market, offering a large temperature-controlled storage capacity, represents a significant support to the country's infrastructure and contributes to continued economic growth, in a country known for food production and leader in the export of shrimp and bananas.
