Argentina. On April 3, the official account of ASHRAE Argentine Chapter announced with sadness the death of engineer Florentino Roson Rodriguez, who was one of the founding members of that chapter and president of Supercontrols S.A., until the day of his death.
With an official publication on its website , as well as the respective replicas of such information on social networks, the Chapter of Argentina dismissed Florentino. "Without warning, in silence last night Florentino Rosón, the great Tino left us and left an immense gap in the Argentine Chapter of ASHRAE."
This farewell included a letter written by Carlos Grinberg, president of the chapter, who personally dismissed his colleague. "Tino left us", is the first line of a letter that, from several anecdotes, gives an account of the commitment and contributions that the engineer contributed to this organization for more than 20 years.
Carlos emphasized "the love and organization that Tino put into everything he did." Finally, he concluded that "today I have to say goodbye on behalf of all the members of ASHRAE and I can only tell you chau, see you soon," and to this he added that the "Congress of San Luis will be the best tribute that ASHRAE can make to you."
