Panama. Compañía Climatizadora celebrated its 75th anniversary in a cocktail held on October 27th at the Bristol Panama Hotel.
The event was attended by suppliers, customers and friends of the brand, who gathered in a single space to recognize the 75 years of a family business that is now directed by Mr. José Luis Urrutia, being the third generation to be in charge of the helm.
Among the guests, included ACR Latinoamerica, were representatives of Carrier, such as Alexander Occupati, José Lague, Aury Aristy; Bitzer representatives, such as Gerardo Martínez; of Evapco, as Arturo Manjarrez; de Frigus-Bohn, as Vinicios Wiltgen; Veronica Obradovicha, from Taco Comfort Solutions, among others. There was also presence of the brands Belimo, ABB, Hussmann, Piralu, Systemair, Price, Aquatherm Ibérica, Wanzl.
The Carrier Interamerica Corporation team recognized José Luis and Climatizadora for their anniversary, for their trajectory and for being one of the most important authorized factory representative companies for the brand in the region.
"I want to thank everyone, and mainly the brands that have trusted us all these years as their authorized distributor in Panama, to continue serving the needs of our market, taking opportunities to create value and provide quality solutions to have a good climate," said José Luis Urrutia.
Additionally, Mr. Urrutia said: "I want to emphasize that we continue with our continuous training and teaching program, being an important pillar of our company, which is already back in face-to-face mode. We are also implementing and promoting the commitment to reduce our CO2 emissions. It is time to talk more about this issue and to add more people to get to have a society with a low carbon footprint."
Climatizadora is a company that was founded by José Luis Urrutia's grandfather in 1947 after spending a year at Carrier Syracuse. The company began as the distributor of Carrier for Panama and in a relatively short time made a series of installations in the most important shops and offices in that country. Today it is one of the most important firms in the industry throughout the region.
