United States. John Hewitt is the new CEO of Robertshaw Controls Company, who succeeds Mark Balcunas following his announcement of his retirement from full-time service at the company, concluding a career that began there in 1979. Mr. Balcunas will continue to advise Robertshaw on key areas of the business going forward.
Hewitt has served in numerous senior leadership positions during his more than 25 years of experience in both public and private industrial and technology companies. Most recently he served as president of the Americas region for digital infrastructure provider Vertiv, a position he held beginning in 2017. At Vertiv, he was responsible for leading business development and operations for the $2.3 billion Americas region, with 11,000 employees in North, Central and South America.
John Hewitt has a track record of generating strong growth and profitability consistently while building world-class teams and high-performing cultures. Prior to joining Vertiv, he held a variety of global management, strategy, business development and financial leadership roles at several technology companies, including Motorola, TE Connectivity and Aptiv in the US, Europe, middle East and Africa, as well as South America and Asia.
