Latin America. From June 28 to July 1, the first Orbit certification was carried out to the integrators Ecoaire of Costa Rica and ELB Ingeniería of Ecuador.
This certification course was conducted simultaneously from Costa Rica and Ecuador with coaches in Peru and Colombia. The course was done entirely virtually with a monitor attending locally in Costa Rica.
Orbit is SAEG's BMS platform, based entirely on web technology and whose focus is on its usability and easy implementation. Orbit allows access to the sites through the cloud, this allowed the certification course to be interactive and that several Control Engineers could work simultaneously and collaboratively on the same project.
"Orbit is based entirely on web technology, uses the principle of NoSQL databases and data management in Haystack format, this makes Orbit very flexible and allows sending large amounts of information to the cloud and that it can be analyzed by analytics applications, additionally because it is very intuitive to use the learning curve is short and integrators can be executing complex projects in a short time," he said. Julio Londoño, BMS Business Development Manager of SAEG for Latin America.
SAEG distributes building automation products from the most recognized brands in the market. With the addition of Orbit to their portfolio, integrators have access to BMS's full line of field devices, programmable controllers and platform.
